Term limits for county officials?
This happened before I moved to this area but according to Betty Bean there's a case before the state Supreme Court that could toss Hutchinson and most of the County Commission out of office. That would make the 2006 races really interesting.
The state Supreme Court may well agree with the Memphis chancellor. If so, Hutchison won’t be the only politico out of a job – 13 members of County Commission will have to look for something else to do, as well.
