John Roberts
Well I didn't think Bush could do it but I was clearly wrong. I thought that either he'd pick a social conservative that would overturn Roe v. Wade or he'd pick a fiscal conservative that would undermine federal authority in favor of states and corporations.
It appears he's found a judge that just might do both.
Of course the most interesting part of his confirmation will be watching our spineless Democrats accomplish nothing.

In a 5-4 court, absolutely.

Have you seen the bio of his wife? These folks are solidly in the anti-choice camp and his vote could very well be the one that kills Roe. As for corporatists, we already have Congress critters doing all that. Remember when we were taught it was government of, by and for the people, government by the consent of the governed and such? So we have corporate whores in DC (of both parties) who answer to the highest bidder and don't give a damn about the people's best interests. Surely I don't need to give recent examples, do I?
