More jobs for Knox County
Story here.
Excellent news. This should offset some of the call-center job losses from the Oak Ridge area over the last few years. I just wish they'd do something about the dangerous entrances and exits from Pellissippi Parkway. Getting back on Pellissippi from Hardin Valley Road or Lovell Road is just plain scary sometimes.

More good news as well. 84 Lumber apparently is opening a 4 million dollar complex here in Knoxville. I would have posted the link but couldn't figure out how to do it. For those interested you can login to Knox News and do a search on 84 lumber.

On further examination I realize that 84 lumber is a big evil corporation. They are the largest private home improvement retailer in the country. That can't be good, can it? I will bet they have lobbyist. Ewwwww. Lobbyist are bad. I heard about a group from Democracy for Something that went to see their Congressman, Duncan. Do they think lobbying their congressman is a good thing. Probably. It's OK for some but not those evil corporations.
